The idea of forming a humanitarian aid organization in the Seattle area to support Brikama Health Center came about in a Green Tea social event (commonly known as Attaya) in one of the member’s house. Most of these members are health care workers who were aware of the overwhelming need for basic medical supplies in Brikama Health Center. This was realized to be in stark contrast of the excess medical supplies in the United States. Subsequently, we partnered with Gathering Project, a non-profit organization based in the Tacoma area, which collects medical supplies and provide them to developing countries.
